Discover Your EntreType

What is Your EntreType?

The world likes to group entrepreneurs into one big bucket of Type A innovators with a set of common and easily identifiable characteristics. While we do have a lot in common, not every entrepreneur has the same DNA. This can set us up for failure when we try to force non-inherent traits on ourselves.

Leveraging his 20+ years working with every type of entrepreneur at every stage of their careers, Ami Kassar created the EntreType quiz to help you understand your unique entrepreneurial profile — sort of a Myers-Briggs for entrepreneurs.

What is an EntreType?

There’s no right or wrong way to “be” an entrepreneur but understanding how you lead will help set you up for success. Are you risk adverse or willing to take a chance on a big idea? Do you work best in a highly collaborative environment or are you more independent when it comes to shaping your company’s strategic vision?

Complete the two-minute quiz, and we’ll send you your EntreType profile within minutes. Want to explore more? Schedule a call with our team.

The 8 Types

Binocular Entrepreneur

You are locked into a vision early on in your business that you continue to spearhead. Holding to that vision is very important to you; it is tied to your identity. You are willing to take great personal risks to stay steadfast to the vision.

Director Entrepreneur

You appreciate the game and like to be involved in many ventures and businesses. You don’t have a singular focus, but you have a specific eye for what is correct across all the businesses you are involved in and like to be in control.

Betwixt Entrepreneur

You are a rare breed. You want control. You don’t like risk. And you want to have your hands in many pots.

Lifestyle Entrepreneur

Work-life balance is very important to you. You value the creativity and excitement that comes with entrepreneurship and work very hard in your business. You also like to relax, value your family time, and appreciate the freedom that comes with working for yourself.

Collaborative Entrepreneur

You thrive with partnership. Entrepreneurship is not a solo venture for you and it's not a sprint. With the right collaborators, you’re in it for the long game.

Serial Entrepreneur

You love the game and have no problem bringing in massive amounts of support—think VC money. You like to play in the big leagues with other people’s money and your own. Entrepreneurship and the many rushes of risk-taking and building is a lifestyle for you.

Deliberate Entrepreneur

You’re playing the long-term game with collaborators, minimal risk, and are content with slow but steady growth.

Hesitant Entrepreneur

You don’t want to put up any money or stick around for too long.
